The Story Part 6

The Story Part 6

“Bash! Please, talk to me!” I pleaded.

Sebastian ran his hands through his dark hair, his back turned to me. I wish he would talk to me, give me some kind of indication what he’s thinking.

“Sebastian?”

He turns and looks at me, his eyes filled with sadness. He walks over to Nightshade and pets her on the head.

A small whisper escaped from the prison it was kept in,

“It was nice knowing you.” He looks back up to me, grabs his backpack and starts walking away.

“Bash!” I ran after him. His head turned but the only thing I was met with was betrayal. “Sebastian, I’m sorry! I didn’t mean for this to happen!”

“When were you going to tell me?” His voice appears, surprising me with the low volume. “Sara. When?” I’m starting to think that he might be less scary if he was yelling.

“I… don’t know.” I answered, my eyes shifting to the metal beneath me.

“See, that’s what it is Sara, you can’t tell me the truth.” The hurt was back in his eyes giving me a pit in my stomach.

“Sebastian! What do you think I just did?” I yelled, tears started falling down my face. “Do you think this is easy for me. Do you think I didn’t want to tell you? This is hard for me too, I’ve wanted to tell you since I met you but I…”

Bash cut me off with a hug that made me start sobbing.

“Hey, hey. Look at me. It’s ok. I overreacted. I  just didn’t understand why you wouldn’t tell me this. You’re special Sara. Heck, you’re a freakin' angel.” His bright green eyes shone from under his dark hair as a small wink crept across his face.

Mersisters

Mersisters

My Mersisters, Avery and Selah, or pardon me, Andrina and Arista. Entering for “Daughters of Triton” with their cute little flowers perched in their hair and their makeup identical. They actually looked like they could be sisters. Especially these two. Selah and Avery. They looked so cute with their little broaches and swimsuits and knitted tails. l was so excited to see them go on. Every scene they all went on, giggling and smiling. And then they were back. Backstage laughing and talking as they awaited their next scene. Luckily for me, the next scene was where they were princesses and wearing skirts and they all looked so good. Selah comes up to me with a crown and holds it out for me. We had determined that I would help her put her crown in because she tended to put it in crooked. I smiled at her and said, “You look so cute, I’m going to take a picture.”

It's Over

It’s Over

After three nights, and four shows, you’d think we’d be over this. But we’re not. In fact, I wish we had more shows. It’s my first AS play at Logan and I’m so happy it was. I loved it, the cast was amazing and I think this may just be my last show. I love stagecraft but I want to be in cabaret next year. Anyways, the shows were amazing. Much better than the IS play that’s for sure. The cast was easier to work with, especially since they weren't all kids. I’m going to miss them. Everyone. All of the hair I have had to curl, the makeup I had to put on. But it was worth it. Seeing our hard work finally pay off. All of the hours we all spent rehearsing. It was worth it. But, it’s never going to happen again. Something will always be different. It’s never going to be the way it was. I’m going to miss them. A lot. Every. Single. One.

Doing Sophie's Makeup

Doing Sophie's Makeup

She messed up on eyes, again! We had to take off all of her makeup and I had to start over.
Filling in her eyebrows,
Drawing her eyeliner ,
Brushing her lashes with mascara,
Painting her eyelids with eyeshadow.
When I'm finished she looks beautiful. Much better then when she did it herself.
That's when I realized that her lipstick had smeared. All over her face.
Sigh
Time to start again.

Sophie has given her consent for this slice.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Part 1

JoJo's Bizzare Adventure

So I started watching an anime show called JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure around November last year. Today I am going to attempt to describe each of the four parts.

Part 1:
The main character in the part is named Jonathan Joestar or JoJo. Jonathan’s father and mother are in a horse carriage accident and JoJo’s mom dies but a robber, Dario Brando “saves” baby JoJo and Joestar tells Dario that he can ask for anything and gives Dario his ring. Many years later, Dio Brando, Dario’s son murders his father by giving him pills that slowly kill him. He then goes to live with the Joestars after being instructed by Dario to steal their wealth. JoJo already hates Dio because he burns JoJo’s dog alive. Dio also kisses JoJo’s love interest which makes JoJo even more pissed. Seven years pass and JoJo and Dio are both pretending to like each other while they really hate one another. Dio becomes obsessed with finding a stone mask that (this will sound crazy, but it makes sense) turns him into a vampire and an immortal. JoJo learns to use a thing called “The Ripple” He gets really good with it and in the end battles Dio along with the help of a man called Zeppeli. Dio kills Joestar the same way he killed Dario but when he and JoJo battle, Dio’s head gets cut off but he is still alive. In the end, JoJo and Erina (JoJo’s love interest who Dio kissed,) get married and go on a cruise but talking head Dio crashes it and sets the boat on fire. Erina saves a baby who she adopts as her son after JoJo dies, cradling Dio’s head.

I will continue to put descriptions of the next three parts on later slices. Also, just to clear it up, Dio is a vampire.

The Story Part 5

The Story Part 5

It’s been hidden for the past few days, but I guess it just slipped out. The only thing I’m worried about is if Sebastian saw it. If he did, he’ll want an explanation. What would I say? I can’t tell him why we’re here, and I don’t know how he accepted the fact that Nightshade is a dragon. He’s so nice and if he found out, he’d leave us. It’s nice to talk to someone who talks back and Bash knows about DC. He’s essential to our survival. He can’t know. He just can’t. But what if he saw it? Will he ask me? Does he have the guts? Or does he just think it’s his mind playing tricks on him? I don’t know. Sebastian!! Give me SOME sign, at least one! Ugh, what am I doing? I’m in the middle of an escape mission and my dragon is very capable of become wire food. I can’t think about this right now, we need to get out and make sure Nightshade doesn’t die.

“Well, that was fun. Can we do it again?” Bash inquired carefully.

“What kind of screwed up definition of “fun” is in your head?” I asked laughing.

Sebastian smiled and looked at me. He watched me for a minute and then his gaze fell back to the chest by our feet. He slipped open the lock and the lid creaked open.

“What’s in it?” I pushed. He was just standing there… Was everything alright?

“Ummm... Sara?”

“Yes?”

“This isn’t what we thought it was,”

“Bash, what is it?”

He turned the chest and inside was a huge wad of paper. I picked one up and looked at it.

“Hello Sara. I know you’re on Earth. I’ve been watching you. When you gonna tell the guy? He has to know sometime. Oh! You don’t want to tell him! Cause you think he’ll think you’re a freak. Don’t worry sweetie, you are. Well I must be going, I certainly hope he wasn’t with you when you opened this.”

I looked up in terror to see Sebastian holding a piece of paper.

“Bash…”

“Sara, what is this? I know you’re on Earth? What the hell?” Sebastian’s face grew scarier as he got angrier.

“I can explain!” I yelled desperately. “Please, just let me explain.”

“Fine. What is going on?”

Vikram!

Vikram!

Last year, as some of you may remember, Vikram, my baby cousin was born. I wrote a slice about him last year and I intend to again.

Today is Vikram’s 1st Birthday and I’m so happy! I last saw him in November when he came to Denver for thanksgiving. He has super chubby cheeks and can baby talk. He is absolutely adorable and he is one of my favorite cousins because, he is a baby! It is so much fun to watch him and spend time with him! He is a super lovable kid and I am so lucky he is my baby cousin. Also when he is 12, I will be 24!

There is one thing I don’t understand. Vikram and his family are going to India to celebrate his first birthday, the only thing is, there is supposed to be a lot of people. He’s just a baby! I understand the need to make his first birthday a big one, but really! If there is a bunch of people, he could very well get freaked out and start crying. While I highly doubt ths will happen, because he is a very observative baby, it is a very possible possiblity. Whatever my uncle and aunt decide what to do, I am so very excited that he is turning one.

Happy Birthday Vikram!!
